Just relax and admire the sceneries. Make sure to choose a charter bus that is equipped with all the facilities needed for your trip and that the seats are comfortable.
Once you are in Austin, there are many attractions you can consider visiting. We've made a list with some of the must-see points of interest here:
1. South by Southwest
Held in March, The Film and Music Festivals take place here, at the South by Southwest conference hall in the city center. The three main festivals that take place here are the SXSW Music Festival, the SXSW Film Festival, and the SXSW Interactive Festival which focuses more on latest and creative technologies.
2. Barton Springs Pool
A natural spring-fed pool, the Barton Springs is located in the center of the city, in Zilker Park, another great attraction to see. It has the length of more than 3 times the size of a football field and a refreshing water of 20 degrees Celsius. The place is very popular in Austin, and people come here very often to swim and have a good time.
3. Lady Bird Lake Boat Rental
Located in the heart of the city, the lake offers an impressive natural setting that can be admired from the comfort of a rented canoe or kayak. You can also enjoy the outdoors going on a Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail, along the banks. The name of the lake comes from Lady Bird Johnson, a former First Lady who got involved in many projects to beautify Austin.
4. Congress Avenue Bridge
Not exactly an attraction itself, but more like the perfect place to see a great spectacle put together by Mexican free-tailed bats. Home to a huge colony of about 1.5 million bats, the bridge is visited by many tourists, curious to see the show.
Note that if you want to have a good view of the bats, your Austin charter bus driver should find a spot in the American Statesman's parking lot nearby.
